Best Combination of Figures Ever!!
By Lego Maniac 101
I received this set as a Christmas gift and I was so excited because I really liked the figures and speeder in this particular set. Let me start off with the bad guys. This set comes with one very awesome and evil looking Cad Bane figure which has a very detailed printed head and torso. He is equipped with two short blasters, a huge hat, and a special breathing apparatus. This set also comes with one very mean looking Shahan Alama figure which has a nice printed head and torso. He is equipped with one short blaster and a dark red bandanna. This set also comes with one Elite Assassin Droid which is equipped with a blaster rifle. Now on to the good guys! This set comes with one sweet Senate Commando which has very nice printed head, torso, and helmet. This set also comes with one very sweet Senate Commando Captain which has the same printed head, torso, and helmet as the Senate Commando; with the exception of white decals on his torso and helmet. Both the Senate Commando and the Senate Commando Captain are equipped with one blaster rifle each. Cad Bane's Speeder itself is an extremely fun build and when finished it looks very much like the one from the TV show, and it has a great color scheme and sleek design. The speeder is equipped with a two person cockpit with controls and a four person passenger area behind the cockpit. Between the seats in the passenger area is a rack for weapons, and behind the passenger area is a large hidden cargo compartment for smuggling. The speeder is equipped with two engines in the back and three front headlights, two of which are flick-missiles. There is also a mechanism to shoot the headlight disguised flick-missiles. Well, here are the basics of the set:

The good things :-)

Cad Bane
Shahan Alama
Elite Assassin Droid
Senate Commando
Senate Commando Captain
Short blasters
Blaster rifles
Speeder
Cockpit
Passenger area
Rack for weapons
Cargo compartment
Two engines
Two headlight disguised flick-missiles
Flick-missile mechanism
Printed control panel piece

The bad things :-(

Stickers
Elite Assassin Droid can't site in the speeder
Cad Bane should be armed with two hand blasters (like those of the Clone Commanders)
Senate Commando and Captain have clone faces (in the TV show they are not clones)

Over all, a very good set and I highly recommend it.

Cad Bane is Epic.
By Brickmythic
For most fans of the Star Wars franchise, Cad Bane is the saving grace of Clone Wars. His appearances in Season 1, 2, 3, and now 4 have been perfectly executed. From Cad Banes first appearance, he immediately skyrocketed into cult fanboy status as one of the coolest Star Wars characters of all time. With one line in Clone Wars Season 4, Cad Bane took the throne from Jango and Boba as the most popular and beloved Bounty Hunter in the SW Universe." If you're gonna kill em, do it like a man." when saving Kenobi's life. The hollywood rumors buzzing around Skywalker Ranch is that Cad Bane is Lucas and Filoni's pet project. Concept art of the first Star Wars images circa mid 70's include a Cad Bane like character similar to the antagonist character, Angel Eyes, in the 70's western 'The Good, Bad, and the Ugly'. The Senate Hostage Crisis is the last episode of season 1, Clone Wars, which includes Cad Bane's First appearance and the Speeder recreated in this wonderful Lego set. Why is this set amazing? it includes a great speeder, utilized in planets on the Star Wars universe. You see them in backdrops on Coruscant, Hutta, Nar Shadda, etc... very rarely does Lego make a civilian based vehicle from the Star Wars Universe. Other than Luke's Landspeeder, Cad Bane's Speeder is one of the only other sets you can find to recreate futuristic city traffic, and what not, based around your Star Wars theme. Also included in this set are Senate Guards and the Senate guard officer. The officer and Shahan Alama are exclusive to this set. Cad Bane can be found in the Clone Turbo Tank and Cad Banes Speeder, making this set one of the very few Cad Bane will likely ever be available. This set has some fun play features and great swooshability. I highly suggest picking it up before it retires.
