Nice little figure of a favorite new character
By Monty Moonlight
Ahsoka Tano, AKA "Snips", is a Togruta Jedi Padawan who was assigned to Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars Clone Wars computer-animated feature that was released in theaters a few months back to precede the TV series now running on Cartoon Network. She is younger than a Padawan would normally be, but Yoda wanted to teach Anakin a sense of responsibility and discipline, and she's pretty skilled too. Having seen the movie in theaters when it came out, I instantly adored Ahsoka, probably due in no small part to the fact that she is voiced by the dreamy Ashley Eckstein (What a voice, and a hottie too!). When I noticed figures for the film in stores, I greatly wondered why there wasn't an Ahsoka figure and thought how well complimented it would be with an accessory of Jabba the Hutt's son, baby Rotta, to carry around. In the feature film, Anakin and Ahsoka were on a mission to rescue the kidnapped Huttlet. Thankfully, a short time later I discovered exactly what I was hoping for.

One of the most petite Star Wars figures I've ever seen, but appropriately so and very nicely detailed, this figure of the lovely Ahsoka Tano is a fantastic likeness with 12 points of articulation and 3 accessories: lightsaber, Rotta the Huttlet, and a backpack to carry him in. Rotta is an excellent little figure himself, complete with poseable arms. Ahsoka wears a skirt made of cloth and can be tricky to stand with Rotta strapped onto her back, but nowhere near as difficult as I would have expected. Overall, a wonderful little figure for fans of this adorable new Star Wars character.

Extremely hard to find
By Michael M. Kempton
After spending 3-4 weeks looking for Ahsoka I had finally found her at a local store. I had orginally seen her at a collector's shop and noticed that her face (paint) seemed to be rather awkwardly applied and she was missing her distinct black eye liner. As a general word of caution (mostly for collectors or picky people) I suggest looking around and comparing several different Ahsoka's to each other, there seem to be rather obvious differences in paint application. However, that aside she's is surprising petite, though well constructed.

She's fairly durable with surprising artulation for a tiny figure. While I haven't exposed her to a lot of rough and tumble play, she seems to hold her own. I do worry about potential paint ware over the long term though... her hair (tail!?) pant is applied rather loosely to the rubbery plastic and may ware over time. I would worry about her smallness as well as that of Rota (the little hutlet) as they may be potential choking hazards or easily lost.

Again, I strongly recomend Ahsoka to any collector or parent who's child is interested in Starwars, she seems to rather hard to find, and albeit slight inconsistences, a safe bet to order. Save time and gas~

Great toy for my little girl
By Paul Burney
My 5 year-old daughter has gotten really into Star Wars in general after seeing Asoka in the commercials for the Clone Wars movie. This figure was a perfect start for her collection. It's a bit more petite than other similar figures but it's pretty durable.

My daughter loves playing Star Wars now. I recommend also getting a Clone Wars style Anakin Skywalker, the R2D2 with lights and sounds, and a General Grievious or Asajj Ventress figure to use with Asoka - that will give you plenty of fodder for adventures.

Please note that this figure is currently (October 2008) available in big-box stores and online auctioners for a much more reasonable price than from specialty dealers here.
