A very beautiful doll

I have all the Star Wars dolls, from the 1978 original Leia to the new Episode 1 dolls. I must say that the new Queen Amidala doll is beautiful, and my favorite doll in my collection. Hasbro really outdid themselves. They did a wonderful job in capturing the likeness of the actress Natalie Portman. She has on a handmaiden outfit that is orange with a maroon cape. It looks very Oriental and pretty. She also comes with a hood you can take on and off. However, I only gave this doll a 4 for durability since the outfit has hair snagging velcro. Also her shoes are very small and easy to lose if you aren't careful with them. I would recommend this doll for collectors and for older children who would know how to take care of it. It isn't a very educational toy in my opinion. But it is a great toy for Star Wars fans and those who love Natalie. This is easily the most beautiful doll I own.

Great doll!

This is a lovely doll. I got her because I love to make the Star Wars costumes for dolls and needed a Queen Amidala doll to sew for! This doll comes with a silky orange/yellow dress with an attached red belt (which could come off if you cut he strings), yellow shoes, a hooded mask,a maroon cloak, and rubber hair bands. She also comes with a cardboard cutout of Padme and a little Star Wars toy booklet.
The doll itself is really nice. Her hair is about waist-length and it's really thin. Her feet won't fit Barbie shoes, because they're flat.
I love the dress-a bit of a pain to take on and off, but pretty and well made. The under-sleeves, skirt, and cloak are not hemmed though.
The one thing I do not like is the masked hood. It's weird looking on the doll and looks just like what it is-a mask.
Overall this doll is fun to play with, sew costumes for, or just display on your desk! :)

I normally wouldn't of boughten this doll, but I'm very glad I did. This is a beautiful doll, and I was extremely impressed by it. You should really pick this one up. It is probably one of my favorite Star Wars dolls...ever!
