A very fun and easy game

Top Trumps is a fun and easy game that is a lot like War, but with more strategy. When it's your turn, you get to choose which of six categories--all listed on the cards--you're facing off in, instead of just the regular number value of a playing card. Obviously, you choose the one you think your card has the highest value for.

This Star Wars Top Trumps set is a particularly nice one. The categories you compete with are: height, brains, Dark Side, Jedi powers, battle skills, and Force factor. All the main characters have cards, as do plenty of minor characters that you might be interested to learn something about, and each card identifies the character's alliance, race, or line of work and also has a brief description of the character's history. The cards look nice, with a background of shooting stars against a black sky.

Great for younger players

Our 7 yr old & 11 yr old love this game. It simple, it's War with a small twist. You get to choose which attribute listed on card you battle with. So it's a character card, but each charter also has attributes to choose from for battle.

I think it's clever that you can buy these for whatever interest your child might have. Super birthday gift!

My husband and brother-in-law rarely refuse to play, I'm sure partly because it's Star Wars!

Excellent Game

I love Top Trumps. It is such a fun game to have and so easy to pick up and play. The print job of the card is incredible.
