Cool little toy
By Tour Of The Universe
Bought this for my three year old Son for him to have at John Williams night at the Hollywood Bowl. I didnt want him to have a full size lightsaber, as I didnt want him hitting anybody with it by accident. This little lightsaber was great. Its not the most solidly build thing in the world, but good enough for a three year old to hold up during the playing of the Star Wars theme. There are two colors, red and blue. He likes the blue better as it seems to stand out more. Overall we were happy with the lightsaber and putting it together was sort of fun as well since we were able to do it together.

Cool mini light sabers
By amazonaton
My three year old son is obsessed with Star Wars and I thought these mini lightsabers would be a fun little toy/science project. They were a hit! He thought it was pretty cool to build a light saber like the one Luke uses.

Claims to educate kids about electricity
By Keith Mccullough
The product packaging claims to educate kids about electricity. There is a poorly-written insert, but there is nothing particularly educational about this toy. There is a contact that uses electrical resistance to determine whether the blade turns blue or red, but this is not explained.
